About Us

City of Lights is a Christian rock band dedicated to creating music that tells of our experiences in life and our desires to make Christ known. We live to serve God in any way that we possibly can. The band as one has words and music to share with the world, to reach people that cannot be reached by others, and to be a light wherever there may be darkness.

We developed our name through the calling of Jesus as he spoke to the crowds during the Sermon on the Mount:

"Ye are the LIGHT of the world. A CITY on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your LIGHT so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in Heaven." Matthew 5:14-16
